AUFC Coaches Clinic

Last Sunday on a beautiful autumn afternoon, AUFC conducted a clinic for it's coaching staff. At the Iueann Gruffydd Memorial Football Pitch, there were several coaches in attendance to observe sessions put on by Young Dragons Director of Coaching, Andrew Duvall and Girls Director of Coaching, Josh Nelson. Coach Duvall's session topic was "Training the Wall Pass and Combination Play" and afterward Coach Nelson presented a topic on "Speed of Play". Both sessions were full of exciting activities and coaching points. This will increase the ability of the AUFC coaching staff to pass on  knowledge and enthusiasm to our players.

Afterwards all of the able bodied and semi-able bodied staff took part in a coaches game. Thankfully no pictures were taken of the game.

The day itself was a great event and we look forward to the next clinic. Special thanks to Larry Azevedo for opening up his home for the clinic and post clinic BBQ.
