Duke City Weekend #2 + DPL

Great effort to all the players and coaches out at Duke City this past weekend. As a Club we had a lot of tough games and hard battles. We ended up with 11 Wins, 13 Losses, and 1 Draw. AUFC had 5 teams with shutouts and scored 70 goals as a club!

This past weekend we also had teams competing in the Desert Premier League. The AUFC 04, 05 & 06 girls traveled to Salt Lake City to compete in one of the highest-level leagues, and against some of the top teams in the nation. These girls worked hard this weekend walking away with 2 Wins and 2 Draws.

Weekend Highlights:

• The AUFC 04 Boys were trailing to 04 Santos, with a spark from Nicolai Morford-Oberst, they came back to win the game 4-2!
• Winning the game 6-2, the 08 boys team gave a solid team effort with great combination play between Nico, Finn and Chase.
• On the Girls side, the 07 Red team were battling hard through the entire game. Chloe Stafford stood out by integrating many skills learned during practice, ending in a 1-1 Draw.
• AUFC 08 Girls beat the Rio Rapids with 2 goals coming in from Jordan.
