Duke City Weekend # 3

We had an awesome third weekend in Duke City! Great job to all the players and coaches for an outstanding AUFC showing. As a club, we finished our best weekend yet with 17 wins, 1 draws, and 11 losses!
Some Weekend Highlights:
Across the Club, we had a total of 109 goals and 10 shutout games!
Big shout out to the 04 players and coaches- Every AUFC 04 team on the boys and girls side won their game this past weekend, scoring a total of 31 goals between 4 teams (5 games):
– The 04 girls team had a great showing with exceptional performances by Lauren Machuca with an excellent work rate and Tamyn Robinson with a hattrick in the second half, securing the win.
– Girls 04 White team – back to back shut-out wins!
– The 04 boys team shut out Rio with a strong defensive effort and two goals coming in from Bersisa Burdick.
– Boys 04 White team had an exciting match, ending the game with a two-goal lead, 7-5.
The AUFC 06 boys team completely dominated their games, every player scored at least one goal!
The 05 girls team had a solid win- shout out to Ashlee Mora who had an excellent game with 3 goals and 3 assists.
The 07 Red team on the girl’s side won their game 5-1, despite the aggressive lead, Chloe Stafford did not stop working hard throughout the entire match. Alecia Sanchez also dominated her position and scored her first two-goals!
