New Coaches at AUFC!

We are extremely excited to announce three new additions to our coaching staff!

Anthony Cassaro grew up in Albany, NY and comes to New Mexico after coaching for five years in San Francisco and Portland, Oregon.  Previously he has coached on both the boys and girls side from U8-U18 and served as an age group coordinator for the 2008 and 2004 age groups. Cassaro currently holds a USSF C license and is extremely excited to be coaching with Albuquerque United.

Garrett Valentin, pronounced like the holiday, moved here from Shakopee, Minnesota where he played soccer for many years. He has four years of coaching experience, working with U9/U10 boys & girls as well as coaching 9th-grade boys soccer. Valentin holds a USSF E license and can’t wait to get started at AUFC!

Jeff Saari has been coaching soccer in New Mexico for 25 years, generally in the U9 B through U14 B age groups. His teams have been very successful in NM and throughout the Western region, medaling in over 250 tournaments. Many of his players have gone on to excel at the collegiate level. Saari holds a USSF D License and is eager to be on board with AUFC.
