August 1st, 2018 by admin

We are excited to share that our 06 Boys Team is currently representing AUFC across the globe in Germany. The 2018 06 State Champions, left for Germany last week to train, play and site-see at the  Borussia Mönchengladbach club. Founded in 1900, Borussia Mönchengladbach play in the Bundesliga, and is one of Germany’s best-known, best-supported, and most successful teams. They have over 75,000 members and are the fifth largest club in Germany are and are well known for their excellent youth development program throughout Europe and the World.

The trip for the boys will include 4 days of training with BMG coaching staff, 2 games, a stadium tour, a professional game and sightseeing in the afternoons.

“We are excited to give the boys a different perspective, what it looks like to train at a professional facility and to be in a truly professional environment. Soccer is the number one sport in Germany. Training and especially the games will be a good benchmark for the boys. On top we want them to experience and be immersed in a different culture” said Manni Klar, AUFC Sport Director.

Today (Wednesday, August 1st) the team will play their first game against a local team! We are excited to hear how they do and will continue to keep you posted on their adventure!
